December 27: Duct Tape for The Soul

There is one essential tool to surivie this crazy world we live in - DUCT TAPE! Duct tape can fix anything. I once made a backpack out of duct tape. It was great! Every time it broke or needed to be repaired in any way it could be fixed instantly with the same roll I always had on me and you couldn't even tell it broke to begin with.

As most of you know, in life things will get broken and my suggestion to you is to fix them with duct tape. But what if duct tape just won't fix what you need? Example, you! You can't be fixed with duct tape. Although that would be nice.

So what to do when you're broken? Life is tough and there is absolutely no way of getting through it without getting hit, or bruised or broken. So if duct tape isn't going to fix you then what is? I'm sure there are plenty of answers to that question, but I know one that is guarenteed to work. God.

God is the duct tape for our hearts, our souls, our lives. But unlike duct tape God has no limits to what He can do. Even when it seems you've been shattered into a million pieces and nothing can heal your brokeness God can. Though it make take time God will fix us, no matter how broken we are. Through prayer, scripture and the Holy Spirit God can fix the most broken of hearts. There is nothing and no one God can't fix.

So fix your stuff with duct tape but leave your life to be fixed by God.
