Hello, my name is James Murphy, I have been coming to Youth Eventz for well 2 years as of Good Friday. I played the part of James, the youth leader. No he wasn’t actually the leader; he was the only person in the group that took any leadership so he just kind of took it upon himself.

James is a nice guy who is rather strong as a person, but a lot of his strength comes from God. James had attended this youth Group for several months, and had realized that there was no real form to it. So through a lot of prayer and work, James brought the little bit of structure that is needed in a youth group. God was working through him to make the youth in the group teach each other about their experiences with their faith and to grow stronger as friends.

1 Chronicles 17:19 reads "O GOD, out of the goodness of your heart, you've taken your servant to do this great thing and put your great work on display" (Message version). God took James with his servant heart and used his strength with leadership to make the group see God in a whole new way.

If you are willing to serve, I encourage you take what you can do, and use it to serve God. Pray, and listen for God!
